Hackers Exploit Employees with COVID-19 Phishing Emails

4,000+ domain names were registered in 2020 with “Corona” or “Covid." Disguised as COVID-19 help emails, these cyber criminals are trying to get employees to click on malware/ransomware. Fraudulent emails may come in the form of a message from the Center for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), health advice from a medical specialist, or even internal workplace policy notifications.

With the increase workforce logging in remotely, hackers’ chances of targeting your business increases too. 90% of hacks and data breaches are from remote desktops.
